Sheva extended his contract through 2009 about a month ago. Nesta has said he plans on extending is contract in the near future. Seedorf and Tomasson extended their contracts recently as well.
They should nail down a Nesta contract. A lot of other clubs would take him in an instant (of course the same would have gone for Kaka, etc).
Very good to read this! Galliani is doing the right movements and will keep this team for a long time. To add some pieces is easier when you have a core. And it helps when this core is a winning one. Coloccini too! His contract runs until 2009! I think Pirlo did the same. Not sure about it. Is there a five years limit to contract footballers in Italy? Or this is a plan by the board?
