We shall have to wait and see, hopefully things will fall Spector's way.
SAF replaced Gary with Phil at RB against Bolton and passed up the chance to play Spector.

with champions league starting up and the FA cup, you would think that SAF would be forced to rotate the squad some

Phil has a habit of fouling way too close to the box when he is playing in the back...anyway, I think he is better in the midfield now. Spector would be my first choice as he is naturally right footed, so he may feel more comfortable over there. Also Rio is back in a week, so you figure it would be Rio and Brown in the middle, Heinze out on the left.

I'll have a hard time defending any lineup that includes Silvestre over Spector at this point. He should be given the chance to prove himself at right back with Nevill being out injured at the very least.

If we can't decide on Phil or Spector, how about...

    PHIL SPECTOR!

Seen several references on Phil filling gary's spot.

Which probably explains why Spector sat at the weekend against Bolton... to have him rested and ready for the Champions League match.

Aaaahhhh, thank you. I have been trying to find out if he played or not. Must have been looking in all the wrong places.

I believe Sir Alex has lost his marbles...as a result he won't be giving Spector more playing time because he'll put in P Neville...and then blame T Howard when both Neville and Silvestre screw up again.

Yes, and that also explains their dismal record this year, when Spector starting is even a consideration.
