Looks like JK's game plan for beating Mexico next month has been discovered - wrapped around 3 cigars and lying in the grass at Foxboro!

Should there be a picture or a link, or is this your way of telling me to hurry up and get my Directv installed so I know what the hell is going on in the world?

    So we're playing a 1-9-1?

Game plan: pass the ball to Dempsey. And if it's not too much to ask, please have the game of your life, Mr. Guzan.

Failing that, praise Americans in that they've come along far enough to know that losing 4-1 is not the best result in soccer.

About as many times as JK had donned a tricornered hat and declared his glee at being a Yankee Doodle Dandy.

I can think of three without checking Brooks vs Ghana, Johanson in a friendly, forget against who , EJ vs. Mexico. I'm sure there is more.

Plan: Get ball off the back, Ventura & John. Pass it to workhorses, pass it to Mike, pass it to Dempsey.

    Goal.

What club does workhorse play for? I'm only asking because he doesn't seem to be playing in the 2.bundesliga.

Strickly workhorses, they would be Williams, Bedoya and Jones. Williams and Bedoya had decent games. Haven't checked on Jones did, but yesterday his team got smoked.

Seriously, if we do get the necessary win, it will be in spite of his work.

I don't want to hear any praise of the miracle worker or any version of "in Jurgen we trust."

What if his subs and tactical changes make the difference for the win?

Let me ask you... Julian Green scored a goal in minimal playing time at the World Cup. Was bringing him to the World Cup, and subbing him into that game, good management?

I think taking Julian Green was a ferociously arrogant and stupid decision, and he inserted him for all the wrong reasons. But the guy scored.

Some might say Jurgen turned water to wine there. I'd say he's a lucky ********er whose ass should be fired post haste.

Because everyone can see he's done a terrible job of using his resources to prepare our players and team for success. Just look at the last two warm-up games for this one. If we win, his players have pulled his ass out of the fire.

No game plan needed. Gyasi is backed by Messi. He will score, US will win, Klinsmann is our coach until he changes his mind.

It took until 107th minute in the Ro16 for one of our wide players to make that type of run for Bradley to pick out. If there's any World Cup mistake involving Julian Green it's that he wasn't used more. By all accounts Green looked great in the pre-World Cup camp and scored two minutes after he was subbed in. People think Green took Donovan's spot, he didn't. He took Brek Shea's. One of those two was always going to make the roster. What did Green do at the club level to earn that spot? Nothing, but talented players get the benefit of the doubt. That's just the way sports work. Bottom line is that Julian Green made the team because he offered the team things that our pool severely lacked.
