On this most perfect of combinations of Saturdays, the stars have aligned. The two biggest non-family related days of my life have crossed paths, and I am sure it hasn’t gone unnoticed by the city. And so, in honor of the ceremonial first home game of the season, and my Irish family of which has come before me, I present this song and some blessings to lift us safely to the game, to help beers straightly to our mouths, to guide balls quickly into the potato sacks, and to protect us safely, drunken and satisfied, back home after.
