@ Sunday 6, 2007 4:00 PM TV: CSN (delayed, 7:00 pm) Bad news for all boston area drivers and babies: franchino is back on the streets and back with the team. They'll also have joseph for this one and twellman has been on a streak lately. No matter. They still haven't beaten anyone worth a damn yet. Taylor Twellman's new Saturday night routine. Says Twellman, "It just somehow feels right." So as of today's update, Mapp is questionable. I assume we'll see the same line-up as in houston. NE is playing a Thursday night game in DC so hopefully fatigue plays a factor. Unlikely though the way DC has been playing. Either way, I want the Fire to crack some skulls. Fire win 2-1. BTW, this has replaced the porn on my computer:
If enjoying Herron elbowing Heaps in the face is wrong, I don't want to be right...... I also enjoyed Razov pushing Heaps down and stomping on his chest... That was in Naperville. He was given a red card, which I believe was a fair trade-off. Ah, the memories....
Thanks. I actually forgot it at first, but since the post was longer than usual I did a quick readthrough to make sure I didn't make any mistakes and caught it then. It was a close one.
If I remember right, the stomp was a bit lower down, more towards the "singing in a higher octave" vicinity, and didn't Ante get a several match ban?
That was actually the game that knocked us out of the playoffs, in New England, although it was during the Naperville years. Later, COZ
True, but the entire rest of their team is going to be PISSED OFF after getting ass-reamed by Terry Vaughn tonight. And they'll be at home. I hope MLS doesn't try to make up to them this Sunday for what happened tonight. My only prediction for game 5 is that Barrett gets his third undeserved yellow card of the season.
Judging from the ESPN Thursday game.... Fire 3 ne 0 Both ne and dc suuuuucked......really. It was painful to watch.
To anyone feeling down or having a bad day, read through this thread. The first page is enough to brighten even the darkest days.
You know, given how often Twellman falls down and starts whining about it, I think they deserve every single bad call they get. He managed to get Boswell a yellow card in the first half, but I think Vaughan got hip to it later. The "elbow" in the second half when he looked like he got shot was ridiculous. Then Heaps accidentally kicks the ground while he's spinning, falls down, and begs for (and gets) a call. Later, COZ
Yeah that game was pretty rough to watch. I couldn't believe that after Joseph's red card that DC couldn't put at least one away. Most of the time it looked like they were waiting for Gomez or Moreno to step up, and no one did. That being said, we should be able to put in a pair without them having Sharlie and maybe being a bit fatigued. Fire 2 Revs 1
Well s*** on me...it is...I think this confirms my editor doesnt get paid either. The other approach I can take is that it was a test to see if anyone was paying attention but I can't even lie well on the internet.
FIFA says red cards can only be overturned in cases of mistaken identity. They can appeal the fine, not the suspension.
Is it correct that the Fire game on Comcast has been moved to tape-delay at 7:00,.....a friend at work told me this yesterday....is he a rotten, no good, lying scumbag, or is he right?
