TV: ESPN TIME: 2:00 pm I haven't started a game thread in over a decade, yet here we are. I don't care if they're defending champs, they ain't shit. Have the Fire ever won in Seattle? Last time I checked they hadn't. A couple months ago I visited Seattle and these dudes don't know how to drink at all. Felt like I was surrounded by a bunch of nerds. And I say this as a UChicago alumnus. I don't like Jordan Morris. He's got an asshole face. I like Ruidiaz but he's not special or anything. Starbucks is actually pretty shitty coffee if you really get down to it. Frasier was all right given it's 90's context. So many damn neckbeards in that town though. Made me itchy just looking at them. Go f*** em up, guys. Bastardized Fire 2 - 1 Seattle (Fix the damn badge, Mansueto)
Took those balls outta yo' mod mouth long enough to make a thread? Guess that is why it has been a decade, since they be so delicious![emoji6] Well done, sir. [emoji106] You may resume your regularly scheduled ball sucking now. (Agree with each comment, btw)
I'd rather watch the game on Satan's couch than ********ing Seattle. I'll probably be at a bar or something watching the game, since that's an actual possibility again. Fire 6 - Seattle 0.
My annual reminder that Seattle used to dump their sewage directly into Puget Sound and the human turds floating around were known as “sounders”. There you go.
I sure hope you truly optimistic guys are right about the Fire but I see a 3-0 loss at Seattle especially since it seems we still don't have some of those guys some here say we have signed or are coming or who knows what.
I'm optimistic in that I think we'll see some sparks of what will come consistently later in the season. Anything thing better than a 3 goal loss is probably a good result.
It will be very interesting to see the opening lineup for the fire for this game. Who will have all their green cards and paperwork done to play and who Wicky thinks has practiced enough and is in shape to start. Also it will be interesting to see by the home opener what changes if any have been made.
I'd say the lineup we saw yesterday will be the lineup we'll see Saturday. The match fitness of Aliseda, Sekulic, & Stojanovic shouldn't be an issue since they were all in season. If any, or all of them have their paperwork in order I would expect them to make the bench.
They’re doing wonderful things in sanitariums these days. Let me mail you a few brochures. 4-1Shiteattle
Has he even touched down in the USA yet? I'm getting the feeling he's not going to be ready and it's going to be Jordan Morris running straight at Bronico for 90 minutes. Only real upside is that Seattle is going to be gassed after playing CCL on Thursday, so hope they somehow slip up and let Olimpia take the game to ET. 3-2 Seattle. Beric gets a goal in his debut.
