It just seemed like we should have a thread.

So, Donovan, Pando, Marshall and Umana are out for the Gold Cup.

Ngwenya is injured and Pete is questionable.

    Broome is traded.

Naldo and Chinchilla may be released.

    Who is left?

I think we should try a 3-5-2 for a change

    ---Ugo---Suarez :) --Dunivant
    -----Grabavoy--Nagamura-----
    -Jones---Kirvoski----Gardner--
    -----Gordon---Chisoni--------

although I predict a 4-5-1 with Roberts added in back

The Revs will be without Reis, Ralston, Dempsey and Rooney. (And were a hair's breadth away from being without Taylor Twerpman.)

That's significant enough for me to say that we will beat the sh!t out of them, find out where their families live and beat the sh!t out of them as well.

Then we will track down every supporter and go through the same routine. Because I don't care how well they are playing, they are still New England and they are genetically predisposed to live out their meager, soul-less existence trophyless. So they may as well start the collapse in LA.

I can say this definitively because I will soon be in vacationing Oaxaca for over a week, shoveling tasty mole dishes into my slobbering pie-hole and guzzling yummy alcoholic beverages down my gullet and won't see a blip of the next few matches.

    Carry on.

Come for the fireworks. Stay for the soccer.

Too bad Sharlie Joseph is still with them - he gives us fits.

Yeah, LA will win, its still the HDC, and with NE losing big players, LA will win.

NE has Khano Smith uptop who has gotten sometime, but hasn't really produced.

I think for LA to win, Jones or Kirovski has to pull the strings, and Nagamura needs to play the way he did against Chivas USA, 2nd game.

Wonder if Hartman will play, he seemed to have some pain in his knees, although just about everytime a goal goes in he seems to have pain somewhere in his body, like he is saying that's the reason he didn't stop the ball.
I'd like to see Cronin get a start, he seemed really good during the preseason.

With no star players playing for either team, this game is going to be Boring!! The only exciting attraction is the Fireworks show. I predict a 1-1 tie. I was going to attend the game but I gave my tickets to a relative due to the star players not attending. I am fan that attends the games to see the quality and talent of players not because of some damn fireworks but its going to be a sell out.

Come on now, we're all a little bent over this past month but that's no reason to announce to everyone that you're not a real Galaxy fan. You familiar with the phrase "through thick and thin"? It means through the good times and the bad. Don't be like the Fake Lakers fans who only support them when they're on top of the world, now where are they?

I'm as pissed off as the next guy but we have to support our team no matter what! Although I have to admit I'm not too excited about the Revs coming to town. I'm predicting another Columbus type game(the 0-0 draw that is)

Come on now, you know as well as I do that any indoor 5 v 5 league could probably beat CDC at this time.

Poor bunch, I do wish them the best.(second best that is)

It's going to be a sell out, but there will be tons of empty seats, because the FO required season tix holders to purchase either the 7/4 game or the 7/16 vs Chivas game in order to buy Real MAdrid tix, on a one-for-one basis.

I bought 10 tix for Real, thus I have 10 extra $20 tix for the 7/16 game, even though, as a full season tix holder, I ALREADY HAVE tix for the 7/16 game.

Thanks AEG, for the complete f@#%-over of your most loyal Galaxy fans. We'll remember that when renewals come up.

One more reason (still waiting for shirts) why I will not be renewing my season tix and opt for a couple of games next year. I am not going to Real as there is absolutely no guarantee that any of the stars will show up.

My friend just bought a ticket to the endline, so even that section is not sold out yet... Will we have a super disappointing attendance this year?

With what's available, here's the lineup I'd like to see:

    --------------Hartman---------------
    Roberts--Ugo--Chinchilla--Dunivant
    -------Nagamura---Vagenas--------
    Cobi-----------------------Grabavoy
    -----------Kirovski-------------------
    -----------------Gordon--------------

If Vagenas can't go, slide over Grabavoy and bring in Chisoni out left.

Subs: Herculez, Chisoni, anyone else not named Naldo

Did you start your vacation activities a little early ?

Revs released Rooney 4 years ago. Its Noonan who is with the USMNT.

I think he was making a joke actually, but hey...

It'll be interesting to see how New England adjusts to such a large playing surface. I certainly think Riley could take advantage of it.

Well, while the Revs will be missing many of our "stars", there is still a lot of reason to go see them:

Reis, Joseph, Twellman and Cancela are still 'star quality' players. Dorman is no slouch either.

Parkhurst and Riley are young, exciting players who play a very solid game - Parkhust is making a strong case for Rookie of the Year and you might want to be able to compare him against Ugo. While there will be little comparison physically - Ugo is much bigger and faster, Parkhurst plays a very nice game.

My point is that you'll still see a quality of soccer much higher than you would have typically seen in MLS 3-4 years ago and if you are a soccer fan, you shouldn't be 'turning your nose up' at this game.
