    They recently found out that Jaqua has a bone spur. He can get Cortisone injections on a game to game basis, which would allow him to play, though most likely affect the level at which he plays. The other option is surgury, which would put him out for the rest of the season.

    They haven't decided which route to take yet.

    Having had a bone-spur myself, it is definitely play-thruable.

    Unless you're a wuss.

    Well, I admittadly don't know much about bone-spurs, but I know Frank Thomas of the Chicago White Sox missed half of last season with a bone-spur in his ankle, and a related injury may well have ended his career this season.

    Perhaps there are different severity levels, or maybe you're just a better athlete than these two men. I don't know.
