Not abroad anymore but oh well http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2010/apr/20/andriy-shevchenko-swansong-dynamo-kyiv Exactly what I was talking about when describing what Rooney does well a while ago. He is the best since Sheva as a goalscoring machine to run the channels intelligently and provide clever build up and able to pass the ball extremely well from anywhere. That's why Sheva was at one time the best striker in Europe.
I thought that's what you guys were laughing at when I saw it. Apart from Milevsky I don't know of any prominent Jewish players in the FSU.
The entire thing is about him playing on Celtic and winning the Scottish cup and other Scottish trophies/awards.
No, there have been plenty of great Jewish players like Hidekguti and a bunch of other Hungarian greats. I just found it funny that they had him as Jewish because Chygrynsky is the last guy you'd think was Jewish. It's funnier if you're from the FSU I guess.
Jewish athletes, ha. No but seriously there was a Jewish defender from waaaay back in the day form Novograd-Valinsk who played for the CCCP and DK ( I think ) and completely shut down Di Stefano from what I hear. Believe he got his leg broken against the Yugoslavs and it ended his career.
Definitely some good Hungarian jews back in the day. Maybe some Dutch too. Didn't know Milevsky was jewish, figures, no wonder he's got no pace haha.
what are possible destinations? i'm sure he wants barca but that won't be a good match. arsenal probably have a cliquey french locker room and arshavin is 28 or so anyway he is getting too old for them
