Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] Hmmmm...I would really like for Sheva to suprise us with a goal.
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] It would be a something of a unforgetable experience if Sheva had the chance to play with Ronaldinho on his first game back at Milan. I don't think he even imagined such a scenario.
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] FSC, who has the game on live, just showed a shot of Sheva warming up....looks like he will come on in 2T. I'm all for an experienced squad, but ....maaaan, that Milan squad is freaking old. I wonder if they will have legs at the end of the season.
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] Yep, he's on. Man, nice to have Serie A back on FSC. Sure am gonna miss the 1.Bundesliga, though.
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] Wow, he should have buried that one. That's twice Ronaldinho has fed Sheva with a nice ball. That one, no excuse for Sheva not to net it. Ronaldinho might look like a bit of a goof, but so entertaining to watch.
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] When was the last time you watched FSC? Last season was my first and there was only Serie A and no Bundesliga. Sheva and Ronaldinho both looked old and slow.
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] Anchelotti lighting up a cigarette on the bench. I want to see an NHL coach do the same thing sometime.
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] I thought Ronaldinho looked good, but ran out of juice early. 6 Sheva, well, let's just say it was not the most impressive of debuts. Was late on one ball, and surely should have scored on the 2nd ball from Ronaldinho; great save by the keeper, but Sheva had plenty of time to shelf that one. Was not on the same page with Pirlo and Ronaldinho on more than one occasion, which is certainly understandable. 5.
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] My favorite moment was when there was an off target pass to Ronaldinho and he ran for it, then kind of let up and the announcer said,"well that ball required Ronaldinho to sprint, which is asking a lot of him."
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] I'm convinced that Denis Savard has snuck a butt or two on occasion. During his playing days, he used to go through 4-5 menthols between periods.
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] Yea that's what I'm saying, that's kind of lame. Dinho did it too, right?
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] Well, 77, 76, and 70 are all lame, I suppose. At least, 76 has some meaning to the player...
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] I heard from the Italian boards that Pato offered 7 to him but he turned it down, why would he do that. On another point what will he wear on the national side now.
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] That is less of an issue, he had never stopped playing on UPL wearing the number 7
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] He turned it down because he doesn't want to give the impression that he is pushing Pato out of his place. There is a large contingent of Milan supporters who didn't want Sheva to return. They were so adamant about not wanting Sheva back that when the news broke last April that Berlusconi was trying to bring Sheva back they protested outside the San Siro. Sheva needs to win over those fans support once again. Taking the number off the back of one of the fans favorite players wouldn't be a good start.
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] That's what Shva gets after kissing the Chelsea badge.
Re: The Return: Sheva at AC Milan Part II Thread [R] Your average soccer fan is so fickle. I know I am. We, the fans, sometimes forget that these players are just players and perhaps they do not think of a certain team(s) the way we do.
Re: Pavluchenko @ Spurs thread Rebrov the Racist! Sidenote: It's the Daily Mail so take it lightly, they kind of love this sort of thing.
