That's exactly the recipe Arsenal have been struggling with. It looks great on paper, or in FIFA 09, but who exactly is going to win the ball there? Your going to have 5 attacking players?? No I think Arshavin will rotate with Adebayor and Van Persie. Adebayor has been way off this years and Van Persie is just a week away from another injury.

Arsenal still need a Defensive midfielder, or at least one that can make a tackle.

Your angle is definitely true. I meant full strength, it seems everyone is injury prone. I felt like Tymo would have been an ideal signing. Except he is probably too old.

Well, that's the only rivalry on the entire FSU space worth mentioning. Nothing comes close to it in Ukraine. I have a very difficult time hating Shakhtar (for example) - they used to be almost our allies in the olden days by the virtue of being Ukrainian.

CSKA-Spartak has replaced DK-Spartak and with the terrace culture it's surpassed it five fold n terms of hatred. Hell, the Moscow teams hate Zenit more now than DK.

Shakhtar's like Ukraine's version of Lokomotiv. Family club, only Shakhtar unlike Loko has always had a large and loyal fan base.

ANDREY ARSHAVIN is moving his beautiful girlfriend Julia to Britain after joining Arsenal this week.

Now, there can not possibly be much hate between SM and DK simply because they so rarely play each other. But no rivalry in Russia measures up to the 1980s SM/DK rivalry.

Arshavin's supposed opinion is not all that different from many people's opinion there. I've heard from women themselves a whole list of excuses about how they are too temperamental, cannot concentrate, blah blah blah. So these comments aren't that surprising. Instead I have pretty easy explanation why Russians and Ukrainians would think women drivers suck, because they bought their drivers licenses like everyone else and everybody there sucks at driving. Although the sight of a young 19 year old girl, covered in an inch coating of make up, with a fur coat and a driving a Lexus while talking on a $1000 cell phone, is something to see. Especially when she plows into some guys Volga, blocking the trolley bus line. "Oh where's Dyadya now."

Arsenal appear to have done better in getting Andrei Arshavin from Zenit St Petersburg as a replacement source of inspiration for the stricken Cesc Fábregas. Arshavin should fit in. When Arsenal's punctilious passing game is functioning properly it is similar to the style of football the Russians first demonstrated on English grounds when Dynamo Moscow opened a few eyes, including those at Highbury, way back in 1945. Any reservations about Arshavin date from last summer's European Championship when after giving an outstanding performance against Holland in the quarter-finals he was anonymous against Spain, and Fábregas, in the semis. In any case the player will need time to get himself match fit, the Russian season having ended in November.

If anyone cares, Voronin scored today at Armenia Bielefield (Bundesliga). Judging by his two first Bundesliga games back, he's approaching his top form. An assist (sort of) in the first match and a score in the second

they got all info from arshavin's books (bought by idiot girls who think they're in love with him .. god i hate those teeny-bopper types) and old articles

he does design women's clothes, but when you think about it most famous designers are men. and its the perfect target audience, what self respecting man would buy arshavin clothes? that's just creepy, and its not the same as air-jordans, etc
