Also to all the people wondering on Guardado, remember he got badly injured and missed the end of the La Liga season (which was just a few months ago because of COVID) and I think has only played 1 game this season as he's just coming out of it.

What a game.... from Tecatito Everything aside, the whole team played well. Held Netherlands to 1-0 win. No goals conceded against quality players. That’s an improvement ! We could of finished a lot more tho, wasted a lot of chances. But hey ! We created the chances ... so that’s a positive. Raul has to be more clinical....That’s where we miss cheech.... cheech’s best days are gone, but you can’t argue, that he would of finished that, cause he would of. Tecatito for me is Mexico best player and most exciting. Shame he’s not at a bigger club.... if he was European or South American, that’d be a different story. But I am always amazed when he plays, he is truly amazing with the ball and his anticipation. I’m looking forward till the next game

Pizarro is in the same place Marco Fabián was, too good for Liga MX - once he went to Europe he improved his game - Pizarro needs to do the same - he has dropped a level in the last year Tecatito is awesome, he needs to get better at finishing. That's why Chucky is better - he scores those goals Raul missed two shots but they were at tough angles and helped create another chance or two Herrera and Edson should start in the middle now who is the other starter? Guardado has been great but we need someone to step up to take that third CM spot, he's not good enough to be a starter anymore Gallardo and Montes look like they belong - Montes needs to go to Europe ASAP because we're missing high level CBs Martino is an excellent coach - he will make the team into an organized unit in defense and our front three needs to score the goals when chances are created we can do something in 2022
I always thought Gutierrez had potential to be that player to take over Guardado spot, but I’m now thinking that might be Cordova. More speed, more work rate than Gutierrez and has that same left foot that is in comparison to Guardado. Charly will have to wait a couple more years and should be the starter after next WC since I still think Herrera will be over him up until then. And I wouldn’t be so sure of Alvarez being an automatic starter. If Romo keeps playing well, he can take over that DM spot and he also has better passing.

Raul has been out of form as of late, had a poor showing, just like Cheech has had with Mexico, people remember cheech through rose tinted glasses think those types of games never happened for him.
