Taking on one of my supporters Devils United 2K4 in a return match from last week. Made 13K in gate and holding the lead 1-0 with 61% possession. I did remember to put in the trainees and backups this week though How is everyone else doing?
I took on KS.Elbląg for the Polonia Cup (that has all Polish teams and then me ). I ran a 5-4-1 formation (I can now bust out a 5-4-1, 3-5-2, 3-4-3, or 4-4-2 formation for any upcoming match and not get confusion as they are all solid or excellent now, now I can throw anything at my series opponents and they will have no clue what's coming ). He had a really good offense (on the wings at least) and a terrible defense so I ran a weak midfield (only two IMs and 2 wings) and then played two central defenders towards the wings to shut down his really good wing attack and it didn't work as well as I'd have liked it to (3 goals given up), but my team scored 3 counter-attack goals and one normal one so I won 4-3 anyways. Now I just need him to beat the team I lost to 2-0 two weeks ago and I will advance to the elimination round no matter what. Which is good because next week I would have had to take on the #1 team in my group. I'm just gonna forfeit though because I'm entered in another cup that kicks off next week, so I'm gonna play my match for that instead and root for KS.Elbląg to win and send me through to the next round.
I won 8-1 in my round seven game of the national cup. Didn't expect that... Next week I'll be playing a #1 from a div III, I guess that'll be my last game. Did I mention playing against a communist two weeks ago? I sent him an HT-mail asking if he could give me a share of the income (as home teams in the cup get 2/3 of the income), because communists should share everything etc. I don't think he liked that - I won 2-9
