A HEROIC AND VALIANT EFFORT WAS PUT FORTH BY OUR LOVABLE CREW IN THE LAST EPISODE, HOWEVER THEY WERE UNABLE TO TURN A TERRITORIAL ADVANTAGE INTO A DECISIVE BLOW AGAINST THE RIVAL FORCE IN RED. THE TIMES ARE STILL DESPERATE FOR OUR YELLOW CLAD HEROES. ONLY A FEW EPISODES REMAIN UNTIL THE SEASON FINALE. THINGS ARE STILL UP FOR GRABS. IN THIS EPISODE, OUR CREW MARCH NORTH TO FACE A DEADLY FOREIGN REGIMENT. IN THIS TIME OF PERIL, WILL A HERO RISE FROM THE RANKS TO CARRY OUR MEN TO GLORY?
Done, but isn't their logo still that weird M's and Arrows Made to Look Like a Snowflake thing? I thought they were going back to a fleur-de-lis next season.
I'd like to thank the schedule makers for putting this game on a Friday evening. Who in their right mind, if you aren't at the stadium, is setting 2 hours aside to watch this after a week of work. Life is hard enough.
Did everyone quit work and start drinking already? This place went DEAD about 4 hours ago. Usually there are a few posts in the pre-game and other threads on Friday afternoons as folks avoid work while trying to get to the end of the shift. Not so today. Sadly, I am going to be hard pressed to even be able to crack the first cold one before kickoff tonight. This one scares me. The turf field could be trouble for our inexperienced guys and hard on the bodies of our older guys. Montreal is hot of late and has a very coherent attack. I'm a tad worried for Sands and Morris being on the inexperienced side of things with how well Montreal moves the ball. I hope Lucas has a free kick up his sleeve, as I think that might be what it takes for us to score. Hoping for 1-0, would settle for 1-1, but really think this is one where we give one up early and then just get worked over. Playoffs!
Today is my birthday and my mom called and asked what I wanted. I said all I want this year is #PorterOut.
Mookie brought over a bottle of Glenlivet around 4 pm and, frankly, I'm pretty much tuned. Thanks for asking.
