NOOOOOOOO!!!! Don't mess with my Aussie Rules. Bring me more!!! Irish footy also. You can have Hurling. Better yet put actual tackling into Gaelic Footy. Also more highlight packages fo more leagues. Less repeats of 2 hour games would be good. The CFL commercials are great also.

"Coverage of the English, Spanish, German, Argentine and Brazilian leagues is tops but Scottish Premier has got to go. The Glasgow teams take all the fun out of it. Never a surprise. "

    I like Union as well.

FSW is THE ONLY REASON Time Warner gets so much money from me! If they put it on analog cable I'd go back to that in a heartbeat.

I used to have FSW via DirecTV, but for a few reasons (involving moving and a couple other things), I've had to go the digital route, and my cable provider is Comcast. That means I don't get FSW, but I do get FSW Espanol, and I love it! I don't get rugby or cricket, or the CFL or Gaelic Football, but I do still get English, Argentinian and Brazilian matches, plus much of the Copa Sudamerica, as well as some Mexican matches. Oh yeah, how can I forget Friday night El Salvadorian soccer! To be honest, I don't miss the Bundesliga or Scottish (a local college station shows one SPL match every Saturday night!), but I'm still not getting La Liga. I figured that'd be a shoe-in on FSWE, but perhaps ESPN International owns the Spanish rights?

But one thing many of you guys might find funny, FSWE is showing ALL of the baseball Championship Series' and the World Series (Beisbol de las Grandes Ligas - Serie Mundial). I'm not watching (and not real happy that it's on every day), but realize it's only for a few weeks, and also have caught some Mexican Beisbol. The game's the same wherever it's played, and I like the Spanish announcers much better than all the US baseball announcers except Joe Morgan.

And I've learned some Spanish, too!

I'm hoping any success will eventually land FSW English on Comcast's lineup, but not counting on it.

Without FSW I would cry myself to sleep.

I like the CFL, better than watching the sorry Redskins every week.

I will be happy when the CFL's season ends. Maybe FSW will show a Saturday match from Spain.

Not to be picky, but YOU MUST DIE!

    :)

There's enough on the channel for everybody - you can tolerate me seeing Rangers play Dundee United at 11 p.m. EST on Tuesdays.

the best thing about the CFL (other of course, than the "rouge") is the commercials. How does the one go?

"Saskatchewan? SUCKskatchewan is more like it!!!"

Love it. Almost as good as "My man was impotent until he started taking these sex pills and now I can't get his friggin paws off of me. I don't need this kind of attention at my age." (maybe I dreamt that commercial, not sure).

I get bummed out every morning when the info-mercial before SkySportsNews (at 6am CST) isn't "Girls Gone Wild." I never get tired of that one.

That's from a Saturday Night Live spoof commercial. Sarcastic look on elderly lady's face: "THANKS Viagra!" just before her elderly husband begins dry-humping her!

Yeah, the Ener-X commercials are WAY better than the Christian CDs... "Lord, I lift your name on high...." That shite used to run through my head day and night!

    My question:

Are there any SPL games ever televised that don't involve Rangers or Celtic?

I'd like to see the Dundee or Edinburgh derbies on FSW. Dont think either have been on in years though.

i agree... sometimes they do not show the best
SPL matches... i would love to see the
Hearts v Hibs games... alot of passion in those
    matches...

I get tired of Celtic and Rangers clobbering some
    of the lower teams...

I wish ( hope someday) FSW could pick and choose which games to show , I bet their ratings are higher when there is an american playing . As it was they totaly missed out on the clash of the american keepers Friedel vs Keller a few weeks ago.

I absolutely second that. There is nothing better than seeing Rangers clobbering the little patsies in the SPL.

Competitive balance? that's for fools. What we want is monopoly. Rangers monopoly, not Celtic monopoly.

    for the record...

    Celtic Monopoly.... :)

FSW coverage of the Scottish Premiership hits
home with alot of EX-Pats... with what they pay
for the delayed rights..... i would be totally
enraged if they removed it again...

Problem is, most of us aren't lucky enough to get CBC, and they no longer uplink their signal in the clear for those of us with satellite dishes.

Personally, I'm pumped FSW carries the CFL. Clearly, the players aren't as good as the players in the NFL, but the style of game is so much more entertaining.

As for the SPL, I may be the only one, but I, for one, wish they'd show some matches involving non-Old Firm teams. Give me Hearts-Hibs, give me the Dundee derby, give me anything but sectarian bigotry on parade. I can't even watch Rangers and Celtic play without getting irritated at them and their fans.

you're gonna get sectarian hatred in the Edinburgh derby too dude

and dont let the religious matter completely ruin the Old Firm game for you. I went to one last year, and although it was incredibly intense, I did not witness anything over the line. They're still like most clubs when it comes to having many, many good sports fans following them. In fact, I'd say that a Redskins-Eagles game is more disgusting that the Old Firm these days.
