    No, heaven forbid.

    Why not sub Robben??

  2. Just saw another lateral pass in the defense where a deep pass on the right flank set 5 Swedes before the ball, so the attack would have less bodies to cope with, but the Ajax pass was chosen:rolleyes:

I can see vDijk crying a littlebit.

We won't see another player like Arjen Robben for a long, long time.

Perhaps not for another 20 or 30 years or so.
    Maybe more??

Danny Blind, the most incompetent coach in the history of our football, is mainly responsible for this debacle.

Danny blind is the worst thing that happened to oranje. Screwed up the euros and screwed up here. Sweden are deadly average and yet got the job done, ridiculous. Dick aint much better selection tonight was horrible and why went dost ball straight away in 2nd half ive got no clue

Now it's time for rebuilding. van Dijk won every single ball headed his way and he's a lock. Rekik was OK but Sweden never threatened and he did not have much defending to do. Ake proved that he has no place in the NT, just very little quality. Tete was OK but he's only good defending in the same way Janmaat is only good attacking. Vilhena had a decent enough match and I thought Blind was OK in the MF. Wijnaldum had one chance on goal but was otherwise MIA. Babel has poor ball control and this should be his last match in the team. Janssen has to get his career back on track. Dost was good coming on. Robben is Robben and we don't know whether we saw his final appearance.

A better team than Sweden tonight and also in the first match where Dost scored the match winner that for unknown reasons didn't count.

Bassie Dost pops that goal in against Sweden and we get 2nd place no problem.

Then again, we havent played like a world cup team, so maybe all is fair

Our general play needs to speed up, from the off shouldve been at sweden. Too much backwards and sideways. The youngers need to take risks and go forward when in opposition half especially in an extreme situation like this. Robben should stay and help us. Babel should play as a striker or not at all.

Wijnaldum gave up as soon as the starting whistle went.

I have nothing but good things to say about Robben.

He is in my opinion the greatest Dutch player (after Cruijff) ever!!
Sorry Marco, but thats the way I feel

Danny Blind is not responsible for Ajax losing to Rosenborg, Nice and 28 other teams...There's a deep problem in dutch football and it will take at least 5-10 years to fix it.

I think it will take 15 to 20 years.

Holland wont make another world cup final until 2038 or 2042

He also was not responsible for Ajax making it to the Europa League finals last year nor was he responsible for Appie Nouri collapsing on the pitch. there may be a deep problem with Dutch football but don't put everything on the shoulders of Ajax.

He’s responsible for how he set up the national team. He cant hide behind the dutch league being weaker cos whats iceland or czech reps leagues like? He lost to teams like that. Van gaal had the same issue and got to a world cup semi

I don't. That's why I'm talking about a global problem in dutch football. People blaming on Blind while Advocaat has been crushed 4-0 against France are ridiculous.

There is no "deep problem" in Dutch football, we are in between generations right now (similar to 1982-1986).

There is very little you can do about that right now, except wait for the next talent(s) to arrive.

Sit tight though, because it could very well be the quiet before the storm!! ;)
(think what happened to Spain right before 2008)

Weird though that France with their A-Team on the pitch only beat Belarus 2-1 at home. I wonder whether Deschamps is good enough to mold them into a team that can contend for the WC or whether they just fold.
