After a long delay due to a Ft. Lauderdale injury the match ends 2-all. Madison with 70% possession in the second half.
It's tied 1-all at the half. Omaha went ahead on a 7th minute Allen own goal. In minute 35 the Omaha defense whiffed on a clearance and Jake Keegan scored his 4th of the season to tie it up (as many as Michal Vang scored all last season to lead the Flamingos). Keegan's goal was also the initial first half of goal for FMFC this season Referee Laura Chambers is having a rough time in her first ever center ref assignment.
A quick Omaha restart led to a cross and a the game winner off the head of Emir Alihodzic in the 51st minute. Forward Madison applied late pressure, but Omaha saw the match out comfortably to take over the League One lead.. The Flamingos suffer their first defeat of the 2021 season despite 70% possession.
FM drew last night against Omaha. These USL stadiums make the game hard to watch because the camera sight line is so low...
