Apparently Porto are after Joao Mario. How does everyone feel about this? If he's going back to Portugal, mind as well back to us but we probably can't afford is salary now. I'd be pissed if he went to Porto.
Saw that rumour too. Looking back, 40M for him was amazing considering how much he's played. He seems to have stagnated.
Wouldn't surprise me, he did grow up there. It would suck though, but we can't afford him. Dont know why he would come back to Portugal though.
Anybody watch the Juve game today and see Demiral play like a beast at the back? Watch this kid become a star for them.
Saw our old CB Paulo Oliveira playing for Eibar in La Liga and went to his wiki to see how much he has played since leaving Sporting. Looks like he has gotten a good amount of games and it says we have a buyback option for 3 years which is up June of 2020. I’d be curious what the buyback price is, guy is still just 28 and we need CBs badly. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paulo_Oliveira
William apparently on his way to Leicester. No word on the amount, but I believe we hold 25% of any future transfer.
They are 13th in the league and have aging vets like Joaquin and Guardado, a big talent like Fekir and then some decent to mediocre stuff with Canales, Juanmi, Borja Iglesias. Severely underperformed plus a recent coaching change.
Bruno has been sensational for United. Glad to see him doing so well. Do we get an add on bonus to his transfer fee if they qualify for the champions league ?
I believe we will. I might be wrong though. Sampdoria will also get 10 percent if that's true. If i remember correctly, there was some BS bonuses like Bruno needing to win the Ballon D'or to activate.
Yes I can remember the ballon d’or clause. I’d imagine there is a champions league clause, after all they signed him in January with that exact goal in mind. If there’s one player we’ve let go in the last few years that I’ve wanted to see succeed it’s Bruno. And it’s not just his goals, He’s played every game since football resumed and after scoring 2 against Brighton he’s still running around chasing everything! Been taken off for a well earned rest now
Yeah, there has to be. Man U is in 4th at the moment, right? And i agree with everything you said. I was sad to see him go, but happy for him at the same time. He deserved to showcase his skill in a bigger league. I don't think he'd improve further if he stayed in Portugal.
They’re in 5th, two points behind Chelsea and 3 behind Leicester. Leicester are in terrible form though and not playing well at all. Whereas in all competitions united have not lost in 15 games, scored 38 goals and only conceded 4 so the form is definitely with them
