http://www.riverhounds.com/cgi-bin/dist/news.cgi?id=1207953580 Justin Evans, who spent time with Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes, Chicago Fire and Dallas Burn has been signed to play for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds for the 2008 season. Evans, a native of Peters Township and a standout at Penn State University was actually the first player ever signed by Pittsburgh's pro soccer franchise in 1999, the team's inaugural year. After his first stint in Pittsburgh, Evans played in Poland's First Division. He jumped between MLS, Europe, and the USL's former A-League (now the USL First Division) spending time with the Riverhounds and the Charleston Battery. Evans also played indoor soccer for Cleveland, and most recently, Kansas City.
