    Charge fans are whining:
    Charge loss inconceivable
    Will blame referee.

    Freedom players snubbed,
    No matter: Charge get awards
    Freedom hoist the Cup.

    Mead delirious
    with team victory: equates
    Freedom, United.

    No comparison:
    United takes months to score
    Freedom, two in game.

    Mead risks sanity.
If he goes too far, he might
    turn into Beat fan.

    Big words, mister mead
    Since your team's stadium holds
    just seven thousand

    no sell-out for semi
so the shame dwells in Cary
    fifty-five hundred -----

    Freedom fans not sad:
Half Mia, Jones; no Stoecker -
    Still in Founders Cup.

    Unlike Philly fans:
    no blame referee, no whines
    we at least have class.

    Look out in '03:
    Mia 90, Steffi, Stack,
    Are we team to beat?

    Ummm.... gotta say no.
    The Beat will be back...stronger.
    The year of the BEAT!!

    But, as for your team,
This, to you, I must admit
    I cheered for Freedom.*

*note: this was for the cup only. I'm a Beat diehard. I just don't like Carolina. One good thing about them winning... it will be fun to beat the defending champs next season!!

    Yeah, Beat loves Courage.
    1 win, 4 losses, 1 tie
    Against '02 champs.

    Supersub scores goal
    But Mia's still not enough
    To overcome Prinz.

    SJ's strong defense
    Strengthened in offseason, but
    Somehow worse. Blame coach.
