Pretty bad. And they are in financial trouble. Might even not make payroll. They will need to sell players to keep the club afloat and gaining promotion next year isn't a sure thing. They really need a buyer and be taken private. The speculation is that Neymar will do that at some point.

Here is something interesting, Al Ittihad, Benzema's team, soundly lost in the QF of the CWC, which is being played in Saudi Arabia, to Al Ahly from Egypt 3 x 1. Benzema even missed a PK. Not a good look after investing all that money. I am sure the Saudis wanted a good showing. Man City will play Fluminense in the final on Friday.
This CWC final has been quite interesting. Man City scored early but Fluminense has done well keeping possession and breaking the press with its game of approximation. City looks confused. Not for the faint of heart though.
Julian Alvarez, at 23, has won every title available to him at where he played. Argentinean League Libertadores Copa America World Cup EPL FA Cup CWC
Two worthless glorified friendlies. Nobody cares about those titles. They only "count" when someone is trying to say player X has won Y amount of titles. But when listing a player's title achievements, people don't even remember if a player won these silly Supercups.
Yet you're listing CWC which is practically given for Uefa team from the get go, as winning against Fluminense, as opposed of losing Community Shield to Arsenal and Liverpool. It was just a completely bogus tweet.
As silly as the CWC may be, it's still more valuable than these Supercups IMO. The strength difference is definitely huge, but at least in concept, it's an interesting idea. While I can't say the same thing for Supercups. Pinning the league champions against the Domestic Cup champions doesn't really tell me anything conceptually. Not to mention they are mostly played right at the end of pre-season and the beginning of the season (except for Spain, not sure about Argentina).
Or new coach, just not Ancelotti. Not sure what communications between CBF and Carlo were, but terrible mismanagement. My prediction of Mbappe transferring in and Zidane coming in to coach is off as well.
I think CBF may want Carlo before Copa 2024 while he wants a fresh start. RM probably don't want to think much about next coach soon (Perez is busy with ESL now) so they offer him new contract. And which coach now can suit Brazil? Why i have feeling old names like Dunga or Scolari may be CBF choice?
But, but, Negreira .... 1742643081541734692 is not a valid tweet id This account often exaggerates things, but that's a clear hold on a defender making a play on the ball.
Yeah, the active CL winner might not even qualify for the expanded CWC. And even if they do, it will be harder to win with 11 other UEFA teams involved in it. But remember, the current Club WC (with just the champions of each confederation plus a host) will continue to exist beyond this year.
Right. The current CWC will still exist but now the UEFA CL winner only plays the final. No more SF for them. The others will fight for the right to play them.
