The Clash. London Calling. On (I shit you not) 8-track.

Still have it. Still play it for the hell of it on my mom's still-functioning console stereo once a year or so.

First coming? If so, you're showing your age.

Mine was 45 of 'Do they Know it's Christmas?' - Band Aid.
Mum bought it but it was my Christmas money.

I have it too. I avoided "We Are the World" though. A bit too cheezy.

I think the 1st cassette I bought was "The Clash" and then bought all the rest of The Clash catalogue on cassette. Still have them in a box somewhere.

I think my first CD was either Poison's "Flesh & Blood" or Public Enemy's "Apocalypse '91... the Enemy Strikes Black"

Either way, my mother was thrilled.

That was actually my first album, but it was a gift. My brother got 'Thriller'.

The Adam and the Ants album that had "Goody Two Shoes" on it, don't remember the name of the record.

    Proud? No.

I know it wasn't "Seven and the Ragged Tiger" or "Arena" cuz I got those both as gifts...It may have been "Rio" but it had been out for years by then.

I'm almost positive it was a 45 of King Tut by Steve Martin. Or maybe Freak Out by Chic.

The first LP I bought was a gift for my sister. Bee Gees Live.

I think the first album I bought with my own money was either the "Star Wars" soundtrack or "Magical Mystery Tour" by the Beatles.

    "London Calling" on 8-track?!? -Wow!
