I think the 1st cassette I bought was "The Clash" and then bought all the rest of The Clash catalogue on cassette. Still have them in a box somewhere.
I think my first CD was either Poison's "Flesh & Blood" or Public Enemy's "Apocalypse '91... the Enemy Strikes Black"
Either way, my mother was thrilled.
That was actually my first album, but it was a gift. My brother got 'Thriller'.
The Adam and the Ants album that had "Goody Two Shoes" on it, don't remember the name of the record.
