I agree with you . Many of them are very toxic and petty. You will notice most of the People who will hate Bruno fernandes are supporters of benfica or Porto (to a lesser extent). I always tell them to support the young lads and to appreciate all good players . As someone who has scouted and coached, I do not judge players based on their club .
And it's another individual award for Bruno. Incredible first 6mos. The man that makes things tick.💪 @B_Fernandes8 has been named the PFA Player of the Month for July! 🏅#MUFC #PFAFansAward pic.twitter.com/GxlEivbFSA— Manchester United (@ManUtd) August 3, 2020
I thought it was three in a row but this isn't the official PL award. Guessing Antonio will get that for July.
https://breakingthelines.com/data-analysis/an-analytical-look-at-bruno-fernandes-in-possession/ Bruno's form has tailed off as of late (not surprising after what has been a long season for him), but his impact and influence on the team has been undeniable. He's definitely a reason why we can look to the near future with some optimism.
i believe it was cramp. not a hamstring. i also don't believe his form tailed off at all at the end of the season or now. or that form loss due to fatigue. he simply tries more when the front three or others don't get it done. as a result he takes more risks and you see more giveaways or failed attempts which doesn't look good. he's never been a terribly efficient passer and this was clear from before he signed when he was with Sporting so sloppy passes and giveaways are nothing new. he just has a Keane type will and drive to bend the destiny of the game to his liking and he will essentially take it upon himself to brute force things until they happen. initial failure doesn't seem to deter him at all. he might take more attempts to get the desired effect but he's been consistently coming up with game changing moments. i'm fine with it. not to say he might not be better after a long rest but he's never struck me as super efficient like a De Bruyne where just about every pass seems to create something
