Just received this beauty of an email: Dear Greg- At the Club, we share your disappointment in missing the playoffs. It was one of our goals and we fell short. That said, as we begin a new year, there are many reasons to be optimistic. And we can't wait for the day when we can host you, our amazingly supportive fans, at Soldier Field. So let's talk about the future and the crest that represents our Club. When we launched the current badge, I said at the time that if it wasn’t working for our fans, we'd fix it — and that’s what we are setting out to do starting today. Fans have made their voices heard over the past year and now we’ll undergo a fan-focused process to create an identity that will stand for all Chicago for decades to come. We’ve hired some great designers to work on the project and we’ll ask you to engage with us and participate throughout the process. Additional details, including a thorough FAQ section, can be found here. Together, we will create a great crest for a great Club. Joe Mansueto Owner and Chairman, Chicago Fire FC
