I realized something. The Chicago Fire have partial control over who they play in the first round of the playoffs. DC United HAVE to draw a point from the recently on form KC Wizards in order to eliminate Columbus from the playoffs. Columbus has to win at Chicago to go. So, if Chicago feels like playing Columbus first round, they really only have to go out and give 50 percent. On the other hand, I wouldn't find it that un-imaginable of a feat for the Fire to go out and beat the Crew as quick as they can. Question is, if you're Chicago, who do you want to play: Columbus or DC United?
