I know there was a post before on where everyone was watching the U.S. games. Lucky's and Summer's are usual favorites. Where are some good places to watch the games outside, now that mother nature has showed some mercy and this weekend should be nice and sunny? BTW I've never been to Summer's so not sure what it's like (inside/outside). Ned Devine's in Fairfax is the only place that comes to mind, but would like to stay int he city if possible.
Haven't been there, but last time I looked Elephant and Castle had a screen outside on the patio and a sign saying they are showing all 64 games. If you want outside atmosphere inside, try Bukom. Their air conditioner was broke when I went there to watch the US vs. Ghana game.
Just about ANY sports bar should do - Whether they like soccer or not - These games are 11 am and 3 pm on Friday - Elephant and Castle on Penn and 12th - ESPN Zone nearby, but probably pricey - TGIF at GWU - You gotta think that Pour House, 18th Amendment on Penn SE would have the World Cup as well
Personally, I'm opting for my living room while I wait for a stove repair guy to show up. Atmosphere is nice and homey, though there isn't much of a crowd.
