Figo was and is the most consistent player on the team. This is no real surprise considering how poor some of their players have been.
I agree this isn´t a big surprise, Figo has been in almost every single Real Madrid game if not the best at least one of the best.
I'm glad to see him get the recognition he deserves. Even at this stage of his career he is still one of the best.

What did he save us from? The 2002 disaster? I don't see how this guy can be voted player of 2003-2004??? It doesn't make any sense to me.... Deco was a better player, Carvalho was a better player, Ronaldinho was a better player and Sheva was also much better. I really don't understand...
