The elephant in the room is the tip of the team: Dzeko is not the player he was, and probably needs a bit more help than he is getting. Pjanic also needs to push further forward, but nothing new there.

Just based on the first half they need to be way more aggressive and show better running(something Besic always showed)..On multiple occasions where Finland had partial breaks, some of the guys were running back like it was no big deal and just basically jogged back(or maybe they just can't run well..no idea)..You would think it's a no big deal game the way they are giving so much room(friendly or something). I notice next week it's France..They'll allow 5-6 minimum with that kind of defending.

Bosnia are playing a high press, trying to force Finland to play out from the back – which is tactically sound, because Finland really struggle with this. However, there is no getting around the fact that Bosnia are defensively inexperienced. Sanicanin paired with Sunjic would have been much better, but Chinese COVID protocols meant that the latter player couldn't come.

If they keep playing this way the rest of the tournament it's more like they'll be near the bottom of the standings. Finland hasn't really showed anything special and so even teams shittier than them can challenge and beat us.
