Didn't see this anywhere. http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/a-le...ucture?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter# "FFA agrees new A-League structure"
Interesting structure. It gives the teams equal say to FFA in how the league is run. Seems like a decent compromise between FFA retaining total control vs handing the league over to the clubs.
Naco, look at you doing my job for me- I like it. On topic- its a great FU to Palmer. We'll do one of the things you wanted- after we've kicked you out.
Is this situation going to affect GCU at all? I know their license was pulled, but yet they have been allowed (at last check) to finish the season.
Its still up in the air, but as far as we know after this season, GCU is gone, most likely to be replaced with a Western Sydney side, hopefully in time for next season.
Hopefully we see this list of changes the teams want and hopefully a big part of those savings is not a cut in the salary cap or further reduction in the number of games...
Well.. Let's not go crazy here.. WSW's arrival and some of the extracurricular activities blamed on its fans wasn't exactly good for the league.. But a pissing match over a stadium and a new logo? Yeah, that's a good thing for both teams with the stadium issue. They are going to have several days of free press that involves their team name and the stadium they are going to be playing in.
