Didn't see a thread on this anywhere else...

Ian should stay on the bench, Eddie may start or may come in as a sub like he did in the last match. Kickoff in about 40 minutes - 2:45 on the east coast unless I'm mistaken.

What is up with Lewis? I guess he's at least making the bench, but is he ever going to play a game?

got 35 min against Derby i think. From what i saw of the match he played quite well. The commentators were also praising him quite a bit.

I only caught half the Derby game, so I must have missed him. I was beginning to wonder if the PNE coach was a friend of Tigana. :D

Wow. Sounds like PNE needed defense more then a winger.

According to my friend Neil who is a Preston native and was amazed I had ever heard of North End, Lewis is stuck on the bench due to the outstanding play of Ricardo Fuller. Not much of a source, I know, so take this for what it's worth, but Neil is on PNE's site at least twice a day for updates.

I doubt very much whether that is the case. Fuller and Lewis plays two different positions and has contrasting styles of play. Lewis plays mostly on the left side and likes to send in decent crosses. Fuller is an extremely tricky out and out striker who runs strait at defences. I think Lewis will slowly work his way into a starting spot. Peace.
