I thought things looked a bit different at South County last Saturday night. One of the Spanish-league teams wore a kit that looked a lot like TCG -- and when I asked the young woman at the ticket booth if it was the Galleons' game, she took my $5 and said yes, then put a 'hospital' band on my wrist. I think that was ID in case I wanted to leave the stadium and return. In the bleachers, a fan was giving us a high-volume Spanish language account of the action on the field through a portable PA that a heavy metal band would envy. Then came the storm. I need to follow the schedule more closely.

Tallahasse is something that is often talked about amongst league officials. For the sake of conversation, I will say that the capitol is a city that we want to get involved as soon as possible. However, it's geographical positioning means that the entrance of Tallahasse is more based on regional teams being within the league when it enters. Again, for the sake of conversation, I will say that there are four cities earmarked to be purchased and run by the league in the next two years, Tallahasse is currently one of them. Thanks for the questions, hope you're excitied to have the FESL come to the mighty Capitol City.
Jacksonville is an experience...not many people within the city who want to step up and bring the sport to the next level. There's one or two groups who could pull something special off, but they seem happy to do their own thing. All in all, it's a city that is vital to the growth of soccer within the state and the FESL. Jacksonville is something that is most definately in the works, I'd expect to see something pop up about them in the offseason.
Another question-From the FESL website i noticed that they have playoff system to determine the champion.Once there are enough teams to have promotion and relegation will the champions of the premier league still use a playoff system to be determined or will it go to the traditional 'have most points at the end and you win" way?
Actually, there will be both systems in place. I won't put a timeline on anything or a promise that the following will be implemented, however ideally the first few years would see the top five teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the playoffs, first place gets a bye. The playoff system would be abolished after 1st Division teams get as comfortable as possible. If you used the traditional table to determine the winners, the first couple of years could possibly be too uneven for the lower teams, the playoffs would in theory help the weak and the strong.

I was wondering if there is any information about Seminole County FC. I would really like to be involved with the league, especially in my home county.
Yes, I know that but as far as contacts within the team their website doesn't really have much information. I haven't been able to make it to one of the games either, but definately plan on being there July 23rd. As far as my first question, the FESL Foundation link on the main page lists in the premier division, Seminole County FC. I was curious about that. Thank You.
The outline was written up before Orlando F.C. had officially entered the league, we were close to bringing them in and Sanford was to be there point of origin so they were labled as Seminole County F.C. and also as the league had other interested parties from the area. Currently there are no plans to bring in another team from Seminole County. The outline does list many other teams, however the majority of them were created to help those who follow the league gain the same perspective that those within the FESL have. Hopefully the league is able to hit all of their prospective marks, however we (and hopefully you the supporter) understand that not every goal will be obtained, however we'll always do our very best to make sure that the FESL stay's true the game and you the supporter.
