So, can anyone tell me what the deal is? At 32 and still playing top-level football for a strong Premiership team, it seems pretty inconcievable that he'd want to move to Australia and play for peanuts. I mean, Big Dunc is past his prime, but still...

Big Dunc is an underachiever. He can stay here and remain an underachiever or he can go to Australia and be a superstar. Seems he could choose fame over money.

this is great if he comes
our piece of crap old league the NSL is gone and now we got liek 1.5-2 years of planning into a new league which will not be piss poor anymore
so many soccer/football fans here want to watch games but b4 it was crappy
now it should be pro and im actually not embarrased in saying that i gonna go to an australian soccer league game
if we get some high profile players that would only be better for the sport

    p.s. soccernet is stupid crap
i cant find it anymore..maybe they removed it but they said soccer was in the shadows of rugby and cricket
when soccer is the most played sport in Australia
