Baia out of the game for sure:

Porto goalkeeper Baia to miss Champions League tie

LISBON, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Porto goalkeeper Vitor Baia will miss the Champions League game against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday because of a thigh injury, the Portuguese club said on Sunday.

The 35-year-old was hurt in Porto's first domestic league defeat of the season by Boavista on Saturday.

Club doctors did not say how long Baia would be out of action.

Porto arrived in Moscow with snow in the streets, -20 degrees,
Nuno Vale his not able to be the second keeper

Rui Sacramento from the B team got the big prize

Rui Sacramento was the keeper called up to back-up Nuno Esprito Santo from the 'B' team. Bruno Vale was unable to be called up because he was never inscripted to the Champions League records, so because of this he is not able to play against CSKA.

Diego is also back after not playing against Boavista on the weekend, but Fernandez will not be able to count on Carlos Alberto, Luís Fabiano or Nuno Valente who are all still injured

There may be a surprise in the starting line-up. Maybe the punishmente givem to Benni McCarthy for his actions against Boavista will see him on the bench for the first time in about 5 games. Expect Hugo Almeida to start if that happens.

    Porto's Call up

    GK: Rui Sacramento and Nuno.

Defenders: Seitaridis, Jorge Costa, Pedro Emanuel, Ricardo Costa, Pepe, Areias.

Midfielders: Costinha, Bosingwa, Maniche, Paulo Machado, Diego, César Peixoto.

Strikers: Quaresma, Derlei, McCarthy, Postiga and Hugo Almeida

FCP will get a heavy dosage of cold winds and snow in this game. For a team that is used to playing in warmer climates, this one doesn't look so good. They need to win to have any hopes of playing in Europe after Christmas - go get 'em, boys!
