Messi rested. I am curious to see how this will work. Would be ideal to have a true striker to have Griezmann finally play a position that is closer to his natural position.
A little bizarre to rest Messi in a must win when we have a int'l break and meaningless CL match on the horizon. But yes, will be interesting to see if Griezmann could be slightly less useless w/o Messi.
They just said Messi on the bench is due to "not being 100% fit". Not sure I buy it. Speculation was an ankle problem but that was not confirmed by the club.
Greizman has amazing ability to miss the target when he has the whole goal to aim for, at least get it on target.
