I have to go with Steve Zungul here in the United States.

For the Croatian National team I have to say it was Boban

    Whats yours??

My favorite is from the NASL - Zjelko Bilecki. (At least I hope he's Croatian!)

Zvone Boban and his high-kick during Dinamo-Zvezda game makes him my favourite player.

    Why?

Because he hit a Bosnian police officer?

    Nope.

Because he couldn't stand that untruth anymore.

I wonder why didn't police act against the Serbs in that match, but when Croats decided to do something about serbs destruction of the stadium and beatings of few croat people on the stand, police immideately attacked Croats?

Pa se pitam ko je ovdje lud

Zvonimir Boban is just a seljak, just like Savicevic and Mihajlovic.

It's cool if he's your favourite player because of how he played, but if that's the reason for your liking of him, then you really should ask your self who's crazy here. ;)

He was a kid back then, now you would never say he had done sth like that (of course I applaude him for what he did). Mihajlovic is 40 and a bigger a$$hole than he has ever been.

I don't have a favourite player when I think about it, Prosinečki is the closest.

If anyone is seljak that would be you, capish

That's the reason that put him above everyone else. If I'm to judge only by his playing abbilities then I just couldn't make a choice between players like him, Prosinecki, Kranjcar (senior;) ), Mlinaric...

He should have steped on cop's face afterwards :D

I liked Suker as a player but from anything I heard he's an ass of a person, stingy and manipulative. Tho my '96 and '98 jerseys are Suker.

Why am I a seljak? Because I don't support violence in sports? Because I don't like Boban? Because I am a Serb?

Please state your reasons, if you're going to call people names.

Of course you support it, but if he was a Serb who kicked a Croatian/Bosnian Muslim cop under the same circumstances, would you still support it?

    Be honest.

it was justified violence. If he was a Dinamo player that happened be a Serb and he kicked one of pigs who happened to be a Croat (if there were Croatian cops in 1990  ) he'd be my hero too :D

I'm not proponent of violence in sports either but it's not like cops were attacked for no reason 13/5

How does that make any difference?

I'm sure few of those retarded cops were ethnic Croatians, so what?

I belive the main reason would be you giving your opinion on something you really shouldn't.

    Serb-Serbian forum

    Croats-Croatian one

There just happens to be a few threads around where some people aren't welcome but then again i'm wrong and you didn't deserve to be called what you have been cos of it.Something else would be more appropriate

    Sorry i wondered off.

I would have to go for Stanic and Boksic

It's simple my friend.People in Croatia and mainly Bosnia suffer consequences of the Serbain attack and so you have to suffer the consequences of the same attack yourself only in a lot smaller quantity.

    You answered it yourself ;)

You don't need to like Boban but coming here and calling him seljak 'cause of what he did is in one hand attack towards our fight for independance. His kick could and is one of our symbols of fights for Croatian independance and ending of Serbian represion towards Croats in Croatia

Right, because only Croats and Bosnians suffered in the war.

I love it when people like you 'chip' in with your oppinions about Yugoslavia.

    It's mildly entertaining.

    I'm a seljak because I'm a Serb?

No, I think we proved who the real seljak is.

You're just like Boban, Mihajlovic or that fake Croat Drazen Petrovic.

It wouldn't surprise me if you were half Serbian.

    Those mullatos are the worst.
