I'd say 100% humor, though I've never seen the Sports Pickle before, it seems like The Onion, and it was probably written by a true MLS fan considering he got ALL the names correct (most bashers would be lucky to get one out of three). Sometimes you need to be able to laugh at yourself and not take things too seriously. Not everyone is "out to get us".

That's actually pretty funny. I think The Onion would've just had the picture and the headline over to the side, but they did pretty well with the article. And they did get the names right, so I'm assuming this person actually follows MLS, as mcontento pointed out.
