So we've spun off from the Septic theme into more general celebrity territory. Fine by me! Don't know about Richard Wright or Syd (R.I.P.), but in the special issue of MoJo Classic that's out now (on the 70s, with the Who on the cover), there's an interview (reprinted from the early 70s) with the Floyd that begins with the interviewer talking about going to Highbury with a friend and a friend tall, quiet friend of a friend for two seasons before asking what he does and he says he's Roger Waters. After he realises who's been coming to the Arsenal with him, the rock journalist asks him for an interview and... Anyway, pretty cool to hear that Mason, Gilmour and Waters are Gooners. Now if we could just get them to reunite for a gig at the Grove!
He's an editor on another site I frequent. I just left him a message to join the soccer group there, and if he does I'll try to convince him to join up here. Not that I'm trying to name-drop, I don't know him and this is the first time I've ever pm'd him over there.

This guy is not American but, You know that fat dude in that funny show Little Britain? Is he an Arsenal fan? I swear I saw him wearing an old away Arsenal jersey in one of the skits.
