Think we might see some rotation, but I do not expect a weak team. Maybe Rashford & Eriksen might get a rest. I expect everyone else to play.
KEeper AWB Maguire Licha\Lindelof Malacia Casemiro Fred McTominay Antony Wout Garnacho Yup, Fred and Scott as the 8's. Would love Mainoo to star tthough. Edit: hopefully Sancho can get at least 20 minutes.
📥 Incoming: tonight's team news! 💪#MUFC || #FACup— Manchester United (@ManUtd) January 28, 2023 Who needs rotation anyways?
And again, basically no rotation from ETH other than our defense. It’s just not smart. This one doesn’t make sense to me. It’s a 4th rd cup tie against Reading. Play some kids. Get Sancho some minutes. Rest guys that badly need it.
1. Don't think he trusts our 2nd string midfield. 2. Wants to take cup competitions seriously. 3. He'll probably rotate more on Wed.
Virtually no rotation. I used to hate cup matches against lower league or low prem teams who played with wingbacks because with the onus on us to attack, we'd always leave space. Our rest defence is massively improved and in half a season those fears have been all but wiped away. Looking forward to this.
1. Understandable. They’re not great. But they should be good enough to handle Reading at home. 2. Which is fine if there’s a tough draw or we’re deep in the competition. This game is neither. 3. He needs to. Especially with Rashford and Eriksen. One is too inportant to lose and the other looks dead on his feet lately.
Another day, another obvious penalty not given to us by VAR. Great to see they’re getting better at this.
Ref has been weak - scissor kicks ok apparently. Also let a high boot on Rash from another player go …
