This is just like when we got drawn against Stevenage but Yeading should be easier to beat.

I found out some facts about our opponents being as were playing away from home.

Yeading are top of the Ryman Premiership. They won the FA Vase in 1990 and their stadium is called The Warren and can hold around 3000 people.

I called it just before the number came up, (although I did just see it now in the States) then I figured 26 had to be NUFC because they were going alphabetically and Millwall had just been called. Is Yeading considered the "lowest" team left in the draw? I think Hinckley is "above" them in terms of league ladders.

    Thx,

    Jay!

Yeading's ground - The Warren - boasts a capacity of just 3,500 and of that just 250 are seats.

That would be an incredible game to see. The Mighty Toon comes to town.

Wow. So do they get to keep the whole gate if they move it? (minus expenses paid to the groundowner)

Is that not supposed to be Reading.

Just checked on nufc.com, and it is Yeading. I have never heard of them.

yes it is definatly Yeading coz Reading were drawn against Stockport.

All i know about Yeading so far is that they are from West london and top of the Ryman Premiership and that they have a stadium of 3000 capacity.

The FA now tries to stop teams moving games for financial reasons. There is some sort of formula to divide the "extra" income arising from a move - at least a part of it goes to the FA Cup pool, which is divided amongst all participating teams.

nufc.com reckons that the game will end up going to QPR (capacity around 19k).

It's now confirmed that we will be playing at Yeading's home ground, "The Warren".

Capacity has been set at 2,300 with 800 tickets going to Newcastle.

The game is live on BBC at 12.30 pm on 8 January.

Get in. That London curse is starting to happen again. But surely we will not be beat of a bunch of part timers.
