At home at least, but on our day more than capable of losing to anyone. Haven't made the first round in either of the past two seasons. Before that we got a bye there.

sorry, i dont know how to send a private message... but i wanted to tell you that the american kid i wrote about who used to play in germany (chris cleary) made english football history the other day. i was just on the fa website and last game he had a hat-trick (his team won 3-2) in his FA CUP match and its the first time an american has ever done that in the cup's history.
he was also nominated for FA CUP player of the round... some bloke is killing him though in the voting

Perhaps not too surprising. At this level most people won't have seen many of the games, so those players for clubs with a lot of support are likely to do a lot better in the poll. Worksop managed to draw less than 500 for the game, despite being within a reasonable drive of Droylsden.

As I can't get on the FA site at the moment, who is leading the poll. I've noticed a couple of hatrick scorers for Hornchurch and Bath, but in the former case it is pretty meaningless, and the latter only needed the one.

It looks like a very bad year for the north east clubs - only Gateshead through this far (heaven help us).
