So after a nice dinner with a friend I get in my car to catch the end of the Montreal game on the radio. After hearing 4-1 I almost flung my Mini Cooper into Crabtree Creek. What happened at this game?! What's wrong with our boys. The radio guys spoke about Montreal's recent acquisitions but come on we were neck and neck with these guys the last 2 times. Anyways at this point I'm fed up with the league, if our players don't show up on Tuesday and/or they choke and we don't win the Southern Derby I'll burn my scarf and stop going to games. Of course not really, but like any good soccer fan I threaten to do it anyways
I missed the game due to a plane flight but watching the highlights, the first two goals were amazing long range blasts that beat McClellan. We did pull one back to make it 1-1 in the first half which is admirable, much like the Miami game but we couldn't keep it together. I think the first one just caught him off guard, plus he was looking directly into the sun... the next two were really good shots, but there's no excuse for giving them that kind of time on the ball.
