The game will be live on Sport TV. The last time I was up there, the clubs only had RTPi on dish. Has that changed yet? Do they now get Sport TV?

I can't wait for this game. I'm leaving work early to catch this baby. :D

I'm obviously hoping for a draw, but I'm also hoping it will be a good, controversy-free game.

I have a feeling I will be hating Liedson even more after tonight... :D

It's not that Sporting has impressed me much, even against that greek team Panhonhas... (or something like that).

It's more the fact that Porto is playing like shit.

It is a sold out crowd of 48,769 in the Dragon Stadium. Both teams need to win to keep pace with league leaders Benfica.

    My prediction....

    Sporting win 2-1 !!

Sporting are on a 5 game win streak right now so their confidence going into tonight's game is very high!!

I find playing away to fc porto is always the toughest game of the year!

    Liedson will be on fire!!

There is no way Sporting goes into Porto and comes away with a 2-1 win no matter how well they are playing. Porto won't let them play their game. Plus, with the other obstacles Sporting has to overcome ( officiating ), it's more likely their best effort will only result in a draw.

85 percent chance the game ends 1-1.
17 percent chance Porto wins 1-0.
3 percent chance Sporting wins 2-1 or 1-0.

Some interesting stats that were in the Record today:

for those that don't read Portuguese:
Sporting has less points in the league standings but more goals scored more shots and more corners than Porto.
Porto leads is Fouls committed, Fouls suffered,off-sides and PKs.
Porto is also the most undisciplined team receiving 28 yellow and 2 red cards.
While Sporting has only received 15 yellow and 1 red card.

    Very interesting:rolleyes:

Second goal scored by Diego not McCarthy, Frank must be a little woozy from his long trip up to Massahutes ( dont't know how to spell it)
