With Two weeks to go no team has qualified for the playoffs in the East. Wow, It could look very interesting going into the final game of the season with absolutely no team clinching a playoff spot.

With DC winning both games vs. New York this upcoming week and NE Defeating Dallas, and Chicago and Columbus tying their first game we could be looking at something like this:

    Columbus: 36 pts.
    Chicago: 35 pts.
    New England: 35 pts.
    New York: 35 pts.
    DC: 32 pts.

    New England hosts NY/NJ @ 730PM
    Chicago hosts Columbus @ 4PM

another tie by chiago and columbus could set up a winner take the # 2 seed and the loser going home as the 9th place team. What a twist to the end of the season!!!

It is even possible that if NE Losses to Dallas next week and DC beats The metros in both games that when the final weekend of the season takes shape something like this:

    Metros.... 35
    NE......... 32
    DC......... 32

What if both DC and NE win in the final game thus having a three way tie for 8th place?

DC would hold the tie breaker v. NY/NJ
NJ/NJ would hold the tie breaker v. NE
and NE would hold the tie reaker vs. DC

who would obtain the 8th seed?????

one game down.... chicago just lost to the gals of LA. If columbus loses tonight, this upcoming weekends games could prove to be quite a nailbiter.

    OK Guys...

After sunday we could be looking at this:

A tie by columbus and chicgo and two DC wins, along with a revolution Victory in Dallas we have the following standings:

    Columbus 36 pts.
    NY/NJ 35pts.
    Chicago 35 pts.
    NE 35 pts.
    DC 32 Pts.

instead of this east points battle being super exciting the teams are so crummy it's kind of like that exictement you had during lunch in elementary school when you got vanilla pudding instead of fruit.

not really a win. but that "it's better than fruit" excitement. :(

exactly. The sad thing is that the it's still possible for the best team in the east to be worse than all of the teams in the west. ridiculous!
