Dilly Duka has come home. The former MLS player has returned to play with FC Motown in the NPSL this season. Duka helped FK Partizani win the Albanian Superliga and clinch a berth in the UEFA Champions League after playing a major role in Motown finishing as runners-up in the NPSL in 2018. Motown will compete in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup this year.

Meram to RSL for 2020. I'd bet chosen by Austin in expansion next year (not sure if RSL is exempt though).
Crew get 2nd round draft pick for rights to Big Celery. Could turn into Garber Bucks if certain performance metrics hit. I'll take that!
Steffen is out "for some weeks". Knee injury. It may well be that he never recovered 100% from the injury he had here. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2020...ading-manchester-tests-persistent-knee-injury One note, according to Kicker he's going to Barcelona, as that's where ManU's doctor for such things is located. So the article above may not be completely correct.
Former Columbus Crew Legend Dan Lolli (Director of Stadium Operations 2013-2016) has left his role as the VP of Operations at Sporting Kansas City and accepted the Vice President, Facilities & Stadium Management at FC Cincinnati. Congrats, Dan. And welcome back to the Buckeye State.
It’s hard to believe that someone would willingly leave an organization of SKC’s caliber, who by all accounts are the very model in how to run an organization in MLS, to go to an organization of FCC’s caliber, who by all accounts are the anti SKC in MLS.
I mean, the fastest and best way for an underperforming organization to increase their performance is to increase the caliber of staff, especially leadership. Plus, I'm sure there was an increase in dollar signs involved in the equation.
Well, FCC are going to be opening what should be a terrific stadium in a year, plus a training facility, and it sounds like he'll have oversight of the whole shebang. Doesn't sound like a bad gig to me. Plus, I don't know him, but considering his previous stint in Columbus, perhaps he has family in Ohio.
Any news of Higuain? I always assumed he would be off traveling the world with @chr1st in the dreamed podcast.
Haven't heard anything since last autumn. I know he said he wanted to play again, and I'm sure he could play somewhere. But there aren't many league's starting play now: MLS, USL, Scandinavian leagues, Russia. I hope he gets what he wants. But in the end, I mostly hope we have him back here as a coach, working with younger players as part of that integrated academy, USL, MLS set-up the FO keeps talking about.
