I've been soured to Yobo all season. I will give you that he had a good game today, though. From what I could tell via radio anyway.

ENORMOUS win. Couldn't be more happy. I really didn't expect anything from this game, but they continue to surprise me (pleasantly).

Well done Everton! Very cool indeed.

It's nice to see Blues of all shades dominating this season. ;)

7-1 on the Blues winning 1-0? Somebody was asleep at the switch . . .

Another solid result. Be advised: if you take fourth spot and then humiliate Merseyside (and all of England for that matter) by dying against Admira Wacker in the second qualifying round, we will NEVER let you hear the end of it. :)

But don't let any of the Reds fans get up your ass about not deserving it. You unquestionably deserve it. Quite honestly, I don't think we showed up for one EPL match between Thanksgiving and St. Patrick's Day. We're just a little irritated that when we win trophies by beating people 1-0, we're "boring, boring Liverpool", but you lot rap off 1-0 results and you're cute and endearing.

Good luck in Europe, assuming Bolton don't beat the Soviets. Just don't embarass yourselves. ;)

    Good win, guys.

I have a question about Duncan Ferguson: sometimes, he looks like a true game changer - a complete disrupter when the ball is in the air. Like a very, very rich man's Emile Heskey. But his goal totals are never that high, even in his glory days...and all too often, attacks end with poor touches by him.

Is he just that inconsistent? Or is there something strategic that some teams do to negate his aerial threat? Or is his attitude simply so bad that he plays himself out of games?

Regardless, congratulations to your team on the win. Hope you or Bolton qualify for the CL. You certainly have earned it on the evidence of the season. I'd like to think Man Utd deserved at least a point there, given the # of shots they put on target - but I can't fault Moyes' strategy and the battling effort of your players.

Usually, it's Dunc's temper that gets in the way. When he can keep a cool head, he's a real threat. When he doesn't, he's usually picking up a red card.

What did I tell you about Steve Watson sara? The guys a legend! Team played excellently! MOM is Arteta for me he's finally fitted in and is on the same wavelength as the rest of the team, just wished he could have scored near the end. How similar looking are him and Ronaldo facially? Strange!
