    Everton host Bolton this Saturday.

Hopefully the Toffees can earn at least 1 point.

    My prediction: 0-0

    I'd take a draw.

P.S. Thanks for starting the thread - I've been swamped this week!

Arteta played against West Ham, so I don't see why he wouldn't play. VDM is targetting the derby for his return, so I wouldn't expect to see him in this match.

Bolton will want revenge for our earlier meeting, and our midfield looked pretty bad against WHU...I will take a draw from this game for sure!

What's the deal with Per Kroldrup?

    He's not injured, is he?

So why isn't he getting some playing time?

I've wondered that myself. I do not belive he is injured as he has played in reserve matches (I think he even scored once). I suppose Moyes has just been happy with Yobo and Weir...

I suspect that Per will get some playing time come January since Yobo will be out the whole month for the African Nations Cup. That is, unless Stubbsy comes back and takes his place.

I really want to see Kroldrup play...

I asked the same question about Per in another forum and the general concensus was that Davey didn't think he was ready for first team. My response was - then why spend all that money on him? Seems like a waste to me.

Yeah, that was similar dough to the Beattie deal, and if what you say is true, I'll have to say that the money on Beattie is looking well-spent in comparison...

In fairness, James has been doing pretty well recently.

Um, you do know that all televised matches are listed in the thread marked "Televised Matches", right?

    Just sayin'. :)

    True.

But I suspect there're a bunch of fans like me who

    1) have bad memories

    and/or

    2) don't bother to look at the televised matches thread :)

    Haha

I hope Kroldrup needs some first team action. He's whittling away on the bench.

Li Tie should get time. He was the first reason why I started liking this club of ours, and to see him digressing is sad for me. But, I do admit there are better options ahead of him. :(

We've had all of the play, and it sounds like it was a soft goal...

We're playing one hell of a game. We're dominating possession, we're making great short passes and not playing the long ball, we're creating opportunities and we're in the right place at the right time.

The refereeing is pretty ************. They should have had at least two yellow cards.

The goal was pretty soft, but it crossed the line so a goal's a goal. Wright could have done better, but it wasn't completely awful on his part.

Sounds like to me that Bolton are playing a lot like we did last year...and it's working.

Bolton are now totally camped in their half...the commentators are saying that Kevin Davies is playing like a right-back.
