Elneny looks like he's just trying not to screw up monumentally, by only screwing up slightly.
Nice clearance, Kola.
Whither Mesut Ozil in this match?
Is he proving the previous interpretation of him at tough away matches true?
We've got 60 mins to see how this works out.
Jesus Christ - get the f*ck up!
I think he's trying to work this game, we just can't get any meaningful control in the midfield.
Is AMN wearing shoulder pads?
We’re not good at all today
Hey! That might have just qualified as a shot on goal. By AMN. After only 37'.
Lot of Arsenal's first touches have been poor. Elneny and AMN in particular. That and the team has been so slow getting forward. Building from the back doesn't require a sloth-like pace.
Lacazette messes up a counter by holding the ball too long
Beglin called Arsenal snowflakes, yet Everton falls every time they're challenge?
Bring on Ramsey & Auba at HT?
Edit: and within 2-3 mins the 2 of them figure into perhaps our most dangerous foray of the game. Keep on it lads!
Okay lads, off to church. I leave the match to your capable (rt?) hands.
Up the Gunners!
OK but what happened to "Football is My Religion"?
6s and 7s
Holy shit! AMN fvcks up twice in a few seconds, and only for the good positioning of Leno we'd be 2-0 down. Phew!
Our second half is WAY better offensively than our first half was. But overall Everton is dominating us physically. Everton!
74' Ozil's day is done. Replaced by Iwobi. All subs done now. 15 mins to fight for 3rd place against Spurs. COME ON!!
The standard of referees in this league...
all part of the process
Wow, that was bad. Worse than our fears.
Everton totally deserved the win.
Silva had a better plan than Emery, and his boys outplayed ours.
We never once really looked like taking this game.
So now we fight for 4th not 3rd?
Not a good weekend for my footy teams. Sigh.
Once the Redbulls lost 1-0 to the Chicago Fire, they probably should have just closed up shop.
I don't think anyone expected Arsenal to win out an easy schedule. Not very surprised by today. The lineup didn't inspire any sort of threat and surprise, they did basically nothing. Only Leno played well
That line up by Emery was something else
