Seems like it. No games played in November. Next game on 12Dec. Evan has played in all 4 games so far this season with no goals scored.
Despite covid @evanrotundo10 has continued to train hard and continue his development while learning to live in another country on his own. Proud of this guy! Transfermarkt shows him moving up to Schalke's U19s. Transfermarkt typically moves players through youth levels when they age out of their current level, but since he's only 16, it seems like maybe Schalke are playing him up an age group. Or I suppose it could be that there are U19 games but no U17 games due to covid. No idea. https://www.transfermarkt.com/evan-rotundo/profil/spieler/745460
I will say this again, as I have said since December, Schalke will play their 2. Mannschaft as their 1 team in the 2. Liga. Que Ross Perot and the giant sucking sound towards Mexico for jobs.
Schalke's official website named him as one of the new u19 players. https://schalke04.de/knappenschmied...-rasen-u19-startet-in-die-sommervorbereitung/

Has Rotundo done anything for the youth national team? Or where did the Gaurdoan pull that list from?

Has scored in many friendlies this campaign, however he doesn't feature much during the A-Junioren season. What gives?

Not sure this is Rotundo-related at all, but maybe someone reading this thread knows: This (German) article seems to describe a Schalke U19 win over some kind of American team. I can't access it. Anyone know? https://www.waz.de/sport/fussball/s...-gegen-die-us-boys-siebenmal-id234055405.html
He’s currently on the U19s, who play in the A-level Bundesliga West (U19 Bundesliga basically). In the game against Kleve (friendly) on Jan 27th he was subbed out in the 32nd minute. Schalke won 3:1 with all goals coming after the 36th minute. In the post game interview the coach mentioned a couple guys who were injured during the game but Rotundo was not mentioned. Edit: Rotundo came back in in the 60th minute. Next game is a league game Feb 6 against Preußen Münster, who sits 3rd in the table. Schalke is 6th in the table with Dortmund and Leverkusen sitting 1 and 2.
Great team win for #Schalke04 U19s against a tough Preußen Münster team. @evanrotundo10 started and went 87 mins in the 3-1 win getting his first league goal of the season. https://t.co/re90KabZk2— Dom Rotundo (@domrotundo) February 6, 2022
