Agreed, but such a gulf!!! I still find it pretty incredible in Mellor's case. If I actually refer to the topic of the thread - in Gerrard's absence, Igor's had some cracking games.
Regardless of whether he plays against better opposition or not he's never going to be good enough to play regularly at this level. He is fat and slow and his touch, vision and awareness are terrible.
