Fantastic ball from Guarin with a fantastic head finish from Falcao at the 44th minute mark!

    PORTOOOOOOOOO!!

    2011 EUROPA CHAMPIONS!!

ONE MORE TROPHY THIS SUNDAY TO COMPLETE THE TREBLE!

Not our best game but we got it done. Braga looked like real underdogs. Had one quality chance and didn't finish well off a terrible Fernando mistake. Braga created well but couldn't deliver that final ball.

We looked like our excellent selves in the first half but were terrible in the second. Guarin's perfect 44th minute ball to Falcao's header was enough to capture glory!!

Congrats to FC Porto, it was only expected. ;)

Have to say that as a neutral fan it was an atrocious match.
Both teams gave a pale image of what they've done in the competition until that point.

And btw, wtf is Rolando doing with the Cape Verde flag on his back?

Congrats on a tremendous season Porto and it's fans. And congrats to both teams on getting to the final and making history in Europe in the first all Portuguese European Final.

Would have liked to see Benfica-Porto but the deserved team, Braga did great getting there in the very first season in Europe and beat quality side such as Liverpool, Celtic, Valencia and Benfica to get there.

Noticed, 2 Portuguese teams and not 1 Portuguese flag out there.

Ye I saw and was wondering that too. I was disappointed I didn't see any Portuguese flags. I wanted Varela, Rolando, or Moutinho to bring one out, I saw Argentina, Colombia, Brasil, Uruaguay but no Portugal...Its cool that Rolando had the Cabo Verde flag, but he should have had the Portuguese flag as well.

Some people here mention that but I honestly don't understand the fuss. FC Porto is portuguese, they don't need to show the flag where they come from. It's inherent.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the same thing happen with other winning teams?

The only case there is Rolando, I can't believe that a portuguese international displays the Cape Verde one.

Beto had a Portuguese flag and had it around the trophy at one point with Moutinho I believe

And I agree with Chess, we know we're Portuguese, why do we need flags? I'm fine with other flags out there, it shows our diversity. We don't need our own though, everybody was aware that this was a Portuguese final.

It wasn't our best game, but credit to Braga. The first team I've seen that managed to shut down our midfield for most of the game. They did look like underdogs, but underdogs who knew their mission. They defended well positionally and when challenging.

Porto are deserved winners, that I don't think many can argue against that.

    CAMPEOES!

    What a disgraceful match

    1. Porto didnt make more chances to score than Braga
    2. Sapunaru should have been sent off in the second half
    3. Mossorro is a idiot missing a golden opportunity
    4. Why the hell is Rolando doing with a Cape Verde Flag? I wonder how he feels whenever Portugal plays their trademark pre-worldcup/ euro cup friendly match against Cape Verde NT and wins 3-0 or 4-1:rolleyes:
    5. Your country is a sesspool of crap. put away your Spain Junior flags.
    6. Someone should have injured Moutinho.

1-1 would have been fair, with Braga winning on PKs

    that is all

Domingos will get his revenge on Villas Boas next season and wipe that sh*t eating grin off his face.

HAHAHA its sh!t like this that makes Porto's victories all the more sweeter.:D

Z man you are relentless. I love it when we are on the same side for Portugal but your hatred for Porto is too much man. It must be tough for you , Porto is BOSS. You should focus on an easier target like Benfica :p
